Awareness and information campaign in the framework of the ‘’REACH’’ program
Between the 23rd and 25th of November 2021, the Greek Roma Mediators and Partners Union, has made a campaign for raising information and awareness in the framework of the ‘’REACH’’ program. More specifically, Greek Roma Mediators and Partners Union, have visited the areas and Community Centers with Roma Annex in Larisa, Trikala and Thessaloniki / Menemeni-Ampelokipon.
The president of the Union Mr. Kostas Paiteris alongside with the Union’s curator Mrs. Eleni Desiotou and the rest of the team, have contacted local clubs and mainly with Women’s clubs having as ulterior aim to inform them with issues regarding human rights, equal access to health by everyone, and inform the local associations about cooperation opportunities.
On behalf of the Greek Roma Mediators and Partners Union but also on behalf of all the stakeholders of the ‘’REACH’’ project, we sincerely thank the Community Centers executives, the local clubs and as well as the Deputy Mayor of the Larisa Municipality Mr. Voulgaris and the Deputy Mayor of the Trikkaion Municipality Mr. Oikonomou, for their warm reception and cooperation.
